Half of a New Website

Welcome to the new Takeover website! Kinda. I whipped this up over the weekend, which is why things look promising, but there’s stuff missing and/or broken all over the place. And the comments won’t work for some reason. Fuck it. I tried. Boxing is coming on, so I’ll work on it more later. Or maybe tomorrow. Depends on how many shots of tequila I have.
The first REAL show is tomorrow night, none of this calling in from the road bullshit. I’ll be in the studio with ZeaLouS1 and Tony B. from 6-9 PM PST. We’ll be interviewing Random around 7 PM, who just dropped the incredible “8th Day” and is performing with Common in Arizona this weekend. This show will also the first REAL attempt at some outlined structure and discussion now that I’ve dubbed myself the creative director of the show, which means the show should be much more entertaining. In theory, anyway. One can dream, right?
Tune in tomorrow and see what happens.

The Takeover Fan Show #1 - Silent D and Z1’s car crash

The first show of the semester was a Fan Show. i didnt record the first 45 min of it because i didnt have CD’s. but i did get to record when Z1 and DP called in. charles called in right after the phone cut out with DP and Z1. i played a ton of music. some of which you the fans requested. this is most of the show.

This sunday is the start of the takeover. our first show will be a “Fan Show”. this mean i want ur input on how it goes. what songs would u want me to play(have to be clean). what do u want to talk about (u can call in) is there anything special u would want as a fan of the takeover?

Takeover coming back this fall

Good evening ladies and gentlemen zombies of all ages. I am proud to announce that The Takeover will be returning this fall at its old time. Sunday nights from 6-9 PST. Sorry we haven’t been posting as much on here. but u can always come to the chat room and see if someone is there. We will defiantly be in the chat room next Sunday night for your enjoyment. Sadly Silent D wont be there this semester. All of the takeover squad has lives and his doesnt permit him to be there this season. Tony B will be standing in as the shows producer until Silent D gets back. Some weeks there will be a Fan show where te fans can submit material to be played on the takeover. just remember if its not clean we wont play it. The fan show will be when Zealous1 has a show (concert) to do.

San Diego Comic-Con is Sold Out

Sold out as in no more passes left. First time that’s ever happened. Last year they sold out of 4-day passes before the start of the convention, and then single day passes the day of, but never have they sold out completely and entirely out of ALL passes. I, sadly, did not get passes. Eh, I wasn’t really excited about anything, anyway. There’s a lot of cool stuff going on around town this week, though, including MC Frontalot, YTCracker and MC Lars performing live at the G4 Comic-Con Party. If we’re anywhere this week, it’ll be there. If you’re in the area, you should be, too.
