The Show
On July 30th, 2006 ZeaLouS1 entered the KKSM studios to be interviewed by Andy Diaz a.k.a. Young D. on The Rundown. The Rundown was a Hip-Hip show hosted by Andy Diaz that ran from June 2006 to August 2007. Young D. (Andy Diaz) and ZeaLouS1 (Beau Fa’asamala) had known each other since 8th grade but had not seen each other since graduating high school. Then through the magic of MySpace, they reconnected and Andy invited Beau to talk about his music on The Rundown. ZeaLouS1 came on the show and stayed long after his interview and because of the chemistry they had on that show, Young D. invited ZeaLouS1 back for the last two shows of the Summer run of The Rundown. During this short time Andy Diaz dropped the name Young D. and would later take on the name known as Silent D.
Both of them teamed up shortly thereafter to create something more than just a Hip Hop show but a show without boundaries. After conferring with The Emperor of KKSM Zeb Navarro and him giving the greenlight, the madness was unleashed. The Rundown time slot would be split up into two blocks with the first hour and a half being The Rundown and the second hour and a half being taken over by the new show they had created.
On August 27th, 2006 The Takeover premiered at 7:30 PM PST right after The Rundown. Shortly thereafter, long time friend of ZeaLouS1, The Dark Prince aka The Technical Advisor aka The Minister of Darkness would join The Takeover. The show had its big ups and downs that first run but turned out to be a great learning experience for them. Towards the end of the Fall 2006 run of the show, The Takeover Squad met one of its fans and RTV 130 student at the time Anthony Bushey-Anello. He later became an official member of The Takeover Squad after saying a classic line while visiting the show. Silent D. and ZeaLouS1 were talking about Mexicans being all over the United States and said that there were even Mexicans in Alaska when Anthony Bushey-Anello quickly retorted without hesitation - “They probably overshot their swim.” In January 2007, Anthony Bushey-Anello now known as Tony B. became an official member of The Takeover.
Since its inception, The Takeover has transformed greatly over time going from an hour and a half show to a three hour full fledged talk show without boundaries. They took over KKSM for 24 Hours, they amassed a fanbase, and they did it their own way. The Takeover met all the goals Silent D. and ZeaLouS1 initially set for the show. Leaving the question, what is next? Then on December 9th after deciding to cancel that nights show, Silent D. jokingly posted a bulletin on MySpace that the December 9th show was canceled due to his passing. Subsequently many people believed it to be true and adding fuel to the fire were Tony B. and KKSM GM Zeb Navarro who helped improvised a fake tribute show to Silent D. The aftermath of that left a very bad taste in the mouths of many people and in effect turning away many fans who had listened to The Takeover.
Thus the new challenge for The Squad had emerged and they returned for round 4 - “The Takeover - All Hell Breaks Loose.” The new season lived up to its name. The rules were thrown out the window and raised some hell. With version four of The Takeover coming to a close, The Squad thought it would be a good idea to bring back the 24 Hour Takeover and end their second year at KKSM the way they began it. It is scheduled to air on May 24th, 2008 and is titled “The 24 Hour Takeover: Chaos Reloaded.”

Silent D. aka Andy was born in 1983 and was into BMX’ing at a young age. Two broken arms, a dislocated elbow, and a narly face plant later, his bike was taken away from him by his mom and his dream of being a professional BMX’er died. While in 8th grade, he met Beau aka ZeaLouS1, who he would later meet up with again after high school to create The Takeover. While in high school, he became very interested in art and was encouraged to go art school by his art teacher. Instead he went to college to study computer engineering….BAD MOVE…he would later change his major to business administration. While in college, he became interested in radio and started his on-air career in January 2006 and would create a Hip-Hop show on Palomar College Radio in June 2006 called The Rundown. The Rundown would lead to a reunion between Andy and Beau on The Rundown as Beau was on the show to talk about his music and would eventually lead to the creation of The Takeover in August of 2006.
ZeaLouS1 is the self-proclaimed “King of the Boss Fights” and “The Sleeping Dragon of Nerdcore” who started making beats, producing, and MC’ing while attending California State University, San Marcos as an Audio Production major. After meeting up with Silent D. to form The Takeover, ZeaLouS1 discovered Nerdcore from a CD brought into the show by The Dark Prince. He would go onto make his break out song Level Up which garnered him notoriety such as having the chaosvex video for “Level Up” being mentioned in an issue of Games for Windows: The Official Magazine as a viral video to check out on the GFW channel at GameVideos.com. Since then, he has released Assimilation Prcoess: Complete, Collaboc1de, and The Living Epitaph and has worked with artists such as YTcracker, Random, and Beefy.

Tony B. is a Theater Arts major getting his AA in Theater and his Technical Theater Certificate. He has been at KKSM Palomar College radio for a little bit over a year now and hopes to continue to be there as long as he can.
Tony B. is currently am working at Palomar College in the theater as music crew. He loves long walks around town, going to movies, going to coffee shops, and likes a woman with a lil’ meat on her but just remember looks are a small part of what Tony B. is looking for.
Tony B is a person who is laid back and likes doing what ever comes up. Tony B. has gone through many stages in his life like.. Being him self, to Goth, to Gangster, to Goth again, to who he is now.. someone who doesn’t care about what people think of him. Tony be loves all types of music but prefers Rock and or Roll, Tony B had been getting into some newer hip-hop lately and cant stop listening to Umbrella..
Tony B grew up in Oceanside California then moved to Vista when he was 13. He loves animals and loves anyone with animals. Tony B love some animals more than others. like Cows.. he loves how cows taste.. same with Chickens and Lamb, and pigs, and turkeys. but don’t think that tony will eat any animal.. some animals he cant bring himself to eat because the animal is just to cute to eat.. like Cats, Dogs, Rats.. and so on..
Tony B has 3 tattoos. All of his tattoos mean something to him and thats how hes gonna keep it. He will never get one that doesn’t mean something to him because his body isn’t a place to put crap. Tony B’s newest tattoo is a picture of a dog he had from when he was 6 months old to 11 years old. His dog was there through some of his hardest times in his life and now he will be with Tony forever.
The Dark Prince
The Dark Prince is the former Minister of Darkness and Technical Advisor of The Takeover. He still serves as co-host of the show but is now a FULL TIME Hustla! “Everyday I’m Hustlin’”!!!
